Mirai nikki manga vs anime full#
A spectacular story full of twists and double crosses ensues as the twelve diary holders scramble to find each others' identities while keeping themselves alive. Outgunned and desperate to survive, Yuki teams up with Gasai Yuno, his psychotic stalker who'd do anything from killing to dying for him. After managing to fend off his would be murderer, Yuki discovers Deus's game involves himself and eleven others with precognative diaries to fight to the death for an incredible prize going to the last man standing. Yuki is quick to abuse his new power but is brought back to earth when the diary predicts his own death. Deus tells Yukiteru he's planning a 'fun game' and upgrades his cell phone to a new model which predicts the future. Yuki's only salvation from solitude are his imaginary friends, one of whom turns out to be the not so imaginary Deus Ex Machina, an apparent lord of time and space. This was not in Last Diary. As you mention you read the manga, so you know the difference between the ending in the anime and the manga: how Yuno Gasai from third universe meets Yukiteru god of second universe. But the anime OVA contains the final ending and it is taken from Redial where the ending is very descriptive. He keeps a diary on his cell phone of the things he witnesses, believing himself to be a bystander to the world's happenings. The final volume Last Diary contains the ending where they meet each other.

Most of the gory content of the original arcade version, particularly those with Yuno Gasai, were toned down in the console releases to avoid a D rating (the equivalent of ESRB's "Mature" rating) from the CERO.One asterisk (*) denotes console exclusives, two asterisks (**) denote boss characters. The console releases added five new characters. The arcade game includes 13 playable characters, nine of them being Future Diary holders and the remaining being normal characters, as well as Deus Ex Machina (as the final boss). There are ten stages in a normal arcade run of Mirai Nikki=R, nine of them are fights with normal characters and the last stage being a fight against Deus Ex Machina.

The player must have a full D-gauge (since a Dead End would drain a full D-gauge).The opponent must have at least 25% health left (red life meter). The current round must be at match point (one win left). However, to do a Dead End, the lyer must fulfill the following conditions: A Dead End attack is similar to an Astral Heat in BlazBlue in that would instantly end the match. Each character has two Burst special moves, as well as one Dead End attack. The game features a power meter of sorts, called the D-gauge, when the D-gauge is filled, the player can do a Burst special, which works like the Distortion Drives in BlazBlue.
